THE YEAR OF REDEMPTION

Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

CELEBRATING Our Passover Lamb and Our Risen Savior Jesus Christ

Did you know that people from the crowd that shouted, "Hosanna in the Highest", were most of the same people in the crowd and along with others shouting "Crucify Him".

The Gospels of Luke and John record the crowd shouting Crucify Him. John records the chief priests and officers shouting the same and worse. Reference: Luke 23:18-21 and John 19:6, 14-15. How can a group of people offer Praise at the beginning of the week (Palm Sunday) and before the end of the same week do a reverse and shout, "Crucify Him", "Away with Him", He's not our King". Oh but what a King He is! You see He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and even though they thought they killing an ordinary man, they didn't realize that they were crucifying the Greatest Gift that would ever be made available to them. HE was their King, and if you have accepted Jesus into your heart, HE is yours and my soon coming King!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) KJV This means that God loved you so much that He offered His Best to us, the only person who could redeem or restore us back into right relationship with God. Genesis Chapter 3, describes how sin was introduced into the world by Adam along with Eve, and how their disobedience to God's command not to eat from the tree of knowledge affected all of humanity. They were tempted by a serpent and ate the fruit, which resulted in their expulsion from the Garden of Eden and the introduction of sin and death into the world.

Maybe this is the first time you heard this story from this perspective. Perhaps you have questions and want a better understanding of what this all means for you, especially during a time of chaos and uncertainties. Or you desire to have a genuine relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. If you have questions please choose the contact me, and I will be more than happy to share with you. However, there's another option for you right now, to grab hold of because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. If you are not sure where you will go when you take your last breath here on Earth, I can help you become sure, or you are hoping that when you die, you might end up in Heaven simply by just being a good person, I'm sorry to tell you, I have bad news, because that won't happen according to what the Bible says, in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" and Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

But wait, There is some Good News! Romans 10:9 says "...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

This scripture let's you know, that you can have a living relationship with God: believing by faith and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, as your Savior and Lord, and you will never have to wonder what will happen to you if you were to die suddenly or naturally. If you desire to ask Jesus to come into your heart then repeat this simple prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the provision you have given me through your Son Jesus, to be restored back into right relationship with You and embrace my true identity You originally designed for me. I confess now, and ask You to forgive me for everything I have ever thought, spoke, or done that was not pleasing unto You, and I also forgive myself. Jesus, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again, giving me Eternal Life. Jesus, I am asking You now, to come into my heart to be my Savior and Lord, Thank You for saving me.

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, I say Congratulations! Welcome to the Body of Christ and welcome to the Kingdom of God. I want to encourage you to get connected to a local church in your area where you can grow in faith, and become grounded and rooted in the Word of God. Please feel free to email me if you have further questions or concerns.

God Bless each of you during this time of reflection and celebration for the great sacrifice that was made on our behalf through the Redemptive Blood of Jesus, Our Passover Lamb, who is our Risen Savior and Lord! HE REIGNS FOREVER! Hallelujah!
